Unpeeled is a series of events showcasing women in music technology. In this event, Sarah Watts will present a performance and artist talk alongside an interactive sound installation by SONA.

- Tickets: Pay as you feel with a suggested donation of £6.
Please note: Eventbrite will charge a small booking fee on top of your donation (this varies depending on price, but for example there will be an 88p charge on a £6 ticket). Tickets will also be available on the door.

About Sarah
Sarah Watts studied clarinet at the Royal Academy of Music with Angela Malsbury and Victoria Soames Samek (bass clarinet). She then decided to specialise in the bass clarinet and continued her studies at the Rotterdam Conservatorium bass clarinet with Henri Bok, funded by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust and a Leverhulme Trust Studentship. She has since gained an international reputation as an artist, teacher and researcher on the instrument. She has performed solo repertoire across the UK, Ireland, Asia, Europe and the Americas and has attracted composers including Sir Harrison Birtwistle, Piers Hellawell and William Sweeney to write works for her. Sarah teaches at the Royal Northern College of Music, and at Nottingham and Sheffield Universities. She also hosts clarinet and bass clarinet courses on the Isle of Raasay in Scotland, and directs and tutors on other wind chamber music courses in the UK and France. She performs with several chamber music ensembles including Hard Rain Ensemble, rarescale and SCAW.
